Letter from Noah Welch:

The Massachusetts Satellite Training Program provided me with great coaching, values, and exposure to high school coaches, college coaches, and N.H.L scouts. I was lucky to get involved at a young age. From age
thirteen to seventeen I participated in STP every summer. Not only did I develop as a hockey player, STP helped me off the ice as I became a young man. The values of learning, having fun, discipline, and
sportsmanship that the STP personnel taught everyday was with me on the ice and transferred off of the ice, into my classrooms, and into my home.

As a player I played with, competed against, and learned from the best players my age in Massachusetts. More important, I developed strong friendships with these players. Several of us have gone on to play college and professional hockey. I also keep in touch with many of the coaches from STP. Without the STP I would not have accomplished my goals of playing division I college hockey and having the opportunity to pursue a professional hockey career. I strongly encourage parents and players to make the sacrifice and commitment to participate in STP, it was the best move my Mom and I made and has truly had a large positive affect on my life. My thanks to each and every one of you running the STP program for all you did for me.
